Daimyo’s wife headdress used during fires. The yellow wool hat is ornated with a flowered branches pattern, of European inspiration, perhaps from the Netherlands. The shi- koro is embroidered in relief with a dragon coming from foaming waves. The fukigaeshi are embroidered with a mon of sagari fuji ni kiri type (kiri flower within a wisteria flower pointing down).
