Iron nagamarugata tsuba, decorated in marubori sukashi (open work in the round), in gold and suaka iroe zogan and nunome zogan.

The design depicts the seven lucky gods, sailing aboard their ship “Takarabune” (“Treasure ship”). This iconography is traditionally associated to New Year celebrations,, especially during the Edo period. The crane and the turtle, depicted in each side of the tsuba, are symbols of longevity and felicity.
