Description

Lacquered iron and harikake kawari kabuto decorated on the mabizashi with a miage shiwa. On the two sides, two fukigaeshi adorned with a mon ” maru ni sumi-tate yotsume” (four eyes in a ring) which was Sō Clan secondary mon. Six plates Shikoro laced in sugake odoshi. This kabuto is “tachiki nari kabuto” shaped (symbol of courage and exaltation bound to the ki).

End of the Momoyama period / beginning of the Edo period.
