Description
A marugata iron patina tsuba in maruboriji sukashi, and encrusted in nunomezogan (damascene) and takazogan copper, gold and silver.
The decor is the Seven Sages in the bamboo forest.
The Seven Sages was a spiritual group in which philosophers, writers, poets and musicians Taoist met in the shade of bamboo, in the present province of Henan, where they enjoyed a simple life.
