Yoroi Doshi style shinshinto blade, hira zukuri, uchi zori, hamon gunome, ko itame hada. Decorated on one side with a horimono representing a buddhist ken. Nagasa 20 cm. Signed Daido.
Black lacquered koshirae decorated in iroe takamakie with the famous chinese strategist Zhuge Liang (in japanese Shokatsuryo Komei, 181- 234) of the Three Kingdom period. Often represented wearing a robe, with a special headdress and holding a hand fan made of crane feathers. His name is synonymous with intelligence and strategy.
