Description
Yumi or antique black lacquered japanese bow with bamboo slats.
The yumi is one of the favorite weapons of the samurai. It remained unchanged until the advent of gunpowder and guns in the sixteenth century.
It was used on foot behind a tedate (large mobile bamboo wall), but it could also be used on horseback.
